Dr. Bishop is director of anesthesia for same-day surgery at the University of California, San Diego Hillcrest Medical Center and is also an anesthesiologist and clinical professor of anesthesiology at the University of California, San Diego. He earned his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine.
Dr. Bishop has been a member of the board since 2011.
