Detroit Medical Center Plans $42M Outpatient Pediatric Facility

Detroit Medical Center announced plans to construct a 70,000-square-foot freestanding outpatient pediatric facility in Troy, according to a report from The Detroit News.

 Work on the Children’s Hospital of Michigan-Troy facility is planned from spring 2014 to fall 2015 or spring 2016.

The new facility will expand DMC’s pediatric capabilities and will contain cardiology, neurology, oncology, surgery, imaging, endiocrinology, gastroenterology and nephrology services.

The project will create 100 jobs and will improve access to pediatric care in the Detroit metropolitan area.
