Corona Regional Med Center’s Expansion Plans Reviewed by City Committee

Corona (Calif.) Regional Medical Center’s plans to expand are being reviewed by the Corona Infrastructure Committee, according to a report by The Press-Enterprise.

The plans for expansion include the construction of a new medical office building, a five-story expansion wing and a six-level parking garage. The expansion would also increase the staff from 750 to 1,150 and add 144 acute-care beds.

Construction could begin in 2014 and will be completed in three phases, according to the report.
