Construction Begins on New Kettering Health Network Ohio Hospital with Patient-Centered Design Features

Kettering Health Network in Kettering, Ohio, broke ground on Aug. 5 on a 90-bed hospital with patient-friendly features such as a two-story wall of water, a serenity pool and stained glass in the main lobby, according to the Dayton Business Journal.

The 259,000-square-foot Beavercreek Medical Center, near Dayton, will be Kettering’s seventh hospital and is expected to open in 2012.

The hospital will also feature emergency care, general surgery, orthopedic care, cardiac care, a birthing center, critical care and medical imaging and diagnostic services.
