Centennial Medical Center in Tennessee to Build Heart and Vascular Center

Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., is scheduled to break ground this spring on a heart and vascular center, according to a report by Nashville Medical News.

The center will centrally locate services, involving four cardiac ORs, one hybrid OR, five catheterization labs, two electrophysiology labs, non-invasive cardiology and a 16-bed cardiovascular ICU.

The work is part of a $160 million project at the 615-bed hospital that also involves expanding its Sarah Cannon Cancer Center.
