Cardiovascular Care Group Finalizes Acquisition of MedCath’s Louisiana Medical Center & Heart Hospital

The practice Cardiovascular Care Group has finalized its acquisition of Louisiana Medical Center & Heart Hospital in Lacombe from MedCath, according to a news release.

The acquisition is CCG’s first as it works towards building a national network of cardiovascular care delivery systems. The group has committed to investing an undisclosed amount to upgrade Louisiana Medical Center & Heart Hospital’s clinical and information technology systems to become a cardiovascular center of excellence.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
