Car crashes into Mercy Hospital

Tire marks at an intersection across from Iowa City, Iowa’s Mercy Hospital show the trajectory of a driver who lost control before crashing into the hospital entrance early Tuesday afternoon.

The car lost control after hitting another vehicle around 1 p.m., according to a report from the Iowa City Press-Citizen. The car crashed into the hospital near its entrance and cafeteria. Other damages to surrounding shrubs and traffic signs also occurred.

A report from KWWL says at least one person had to go to the hospital after the crash.
