The investment will add new services and technologies to improve patient care. The release said McKee plans to purchase a new “super” linear accelerator to advance the treatment of brain, lung, breast, prostate, head and neck and other cancers, the only such accelerator in northern Colorado.

Construction is slated to begin later this summer.
