California Healthcare District Plans to Start New Hospital in a Year

The Tehachapi Valley (Calif.) Healthcare District plans to break ground on a new hospital in spring 2011, according to a report by the Tehachapi News.

CEO Alan Burgess said he expects to submit conceptual plans to state authorities this month and the approval process would take at east eight months.
