Construction on the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center – Kearney began in 2023 and a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Dec. 3 to welcome the center’s care teams, according to a Dec. 5 news release from Nebraska Medicine.
The $52 million center offers radiation oncology, infusion therapy and various support services, in addition to hematology services offered through an existing partnership between Nebraska Medicine and Heartland Hematology and Oncology, the news release said.
