Billings Clinic plans $1.4M inpatient expansion

Billings (Mont.) Clinic is planning a $1.4 million inpatient pediatric unit, according to a Billings Gazette report.

The unit will feature all-private rooms, a separate treatment room as well as an “imagination room” to provide a space for young patients and siblings to play together. Billings Clinic includes full-time pediatricians as well as pediatric specialists in dermatology, diabetes, gastroenterology, cardiology, allergy, neonatology and other specialties.  

Construction on the unit will begin in fall and is expected to be completed by 2015, according to the report.
