BCBS of Tennessee cautions customers of phone scam

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee enrollees, beware: You might be the subject of a phone scam, according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

Earlier this week, the insurer released information saying a company using its name has been calling customers to offer medical equipment and pain medications.

BCBS of Tennessee spokeswoman Mary Danielson said the unnamed company does not have ties to BCBS of Tennessee.
