OnBase’s RAC Administration Solution helps hospitals prepare for recovery audit contractors and will report data to the AHA’s RACTrac. The AHA created RACTrac to monitor and evaluate why claims are being denied across regions and nationally in order to help hospitals prepare for recovery audit contractors. RACTrac collects data on a quarterly basis from RACTrac-compatible software programs, and data from RACTrac will serve as evidence to propose RAC program changes to Congress, according to the release.

The AHA recommends that hospitals select RACTrac-compatible solutions because they have established their ability to provide appropriate claim level tracking abilities and assist the AHA in its advocacy efforts, according to the release.
