The institute will focus on translating policies, best practices and emerging scientific evidence into practical solutions and resources for healthcare providers, communities and families to help prevent and treat childhood obesity.
Nestlé is the founding sponsor of the initiative and provided funding required for the program’s launch. The institute will continue to be funded by additional corporate sponsors and grants from the government and foundations.
