AHRQ Appoints New Members to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has added four new experts to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.

The new members, who will each serve four-year terms, include:

Linda Ciofu Baumann, PhD, RN — Ms. Baumann serves as professor emerita of the School of Nursing and as part of the affiliate faculty at the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mark H. Ebell, MD, MS — Dr. Ebell is an associate professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at the University of Georgia in Athens.

Jessica Herzstein, MD, MPH — Dr. Herzstein is the global medical director of Air Products, based in Allentown, Penn.

Douglas K. Owens, MD, MS — Dr. Owens serves as associate director of the Center for Health Care Evaluation at VA Palo Alto Health Care System and director of the Center for Health Policy at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University.
