Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Seeks Approval for $39.6M ED, OR Expansion

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill., has filed an application with the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board for approval of a $39.6 million expansion of its emergency department and operating rooms, according to a Park Ridge Herald-Advocate report.

The expansion plans include the addition of new treatment and observation rooms in the ED, the expansion of the waiting room and the addition of two new operating rooms to the hospital’s existing 24.

 

The project is slated to be complete by fall 2016. The board will review the proposal on Aug. 13, according to the report.
