The Cancer Institute at the Advocate Christ Medical Center has received an Outstanding Achievement Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as well as the group’s three-year accreditation with commendation and is accredited by the American College of Surgeons as an approved Teaching Hospital Cancer Program. Each year, the institute treats nearly 1,800 newly diagnosed patients. In 2015, CareChex ranked the hospital in the top 50 in the nation for cancer care.
