KLAS Research compiles its annual “Best in KLAS” report based on the 2,500 interviews with providers and payers at more than 4,500 hospitals and 2,500 clinics that it conducts each month. During the interviews,the market research firm asks respondents to evaluate and rank their software and services vendors. Vendors are ranked on a scale of 0 to 100, including feedback in six performance categories: culture, relationship, operations, product, value and loyalty.
KLAS Research included 12 consultancy firms in its overall value-based care consultant survey for 2019. However, three firms — including ECG Management Consultants and IBM Watson Health — were omitted from the ranking due to small sample size.
The nine value-based care consultancy firms and their overall ranking:
- Deloitte: 95.1
- Chartis Group: 94.4
- Premier: 93.1
- Optum: 89.3
- Lumeris: 88.4
- Evolent Health: 86.7
- PwC: 86.4
- Navigant: 86.3
- Advisory Board, an Optum company: 71.4
