Baptist Health System Opens New ‘Emergency Hospital’

San Antonio-based Baptist Health System has opened an “emergency hospital” in Westover Hills, Texas, according to a San Antonio Business Journal report.

The facility features an emergency department, inpatient care and onsite imaging and laboratory services, according to the report.

Baptist Health plans to develop four emergency hospitals in conjunction with The Woodlands, Texas-based Emerus Hospital Partners. The first of the four opened last December in San Antonio.
