Part of the new ED was completed last year when Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota finished a $65 million patient care tower. The rest of the new ED was completed through a renovation of the hospital’s old ED.

The new pediatric ED includes an expanded triage area and three new exam rooms for low-acuity patients.
