Retail Clinics Expected to Grow 133% in Next 5 Years

Retail clinics across the country are expected to grow roughly 133 percent, from 1,355 in 2011 to an estimated 3,156 in 2016, according to the February ConvUrgentCare Report by Merchant Medicine.

During 2012, retail clinics are expected to grow between 2 and 27 percent. The wide range allows for a “best-case” scenario of 1,716 clinics at the end of 2012 and a “worst-case” scenario 1,390 clinics, according to the report.
