OptumServe is the federal government health services business unit of Optum, a health services firm under the UnitedHealth Group business.

Beginning this year, OptumServe will connect eligible veterans with lifestyle coaches via scheduled phone calls. These virtual coaches will help veterans maintain a healthy diet, increase physical activity, manage stress and limit alcohol consumption.

Veterans who are enrolled in the lifestyle coaching service also will be able to call coaching lines outside of scheduled appointments.
