VA, Sprint partner on telehealth services

Sprint is offering free, unlimited wireless data to veterans who use its network for virtual appointments with their Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare providers.

The VA’s telehealth program, which includes its VA video connect app, covers 900 sites across the country in 50 different areas of specialized care. In fiscal year 2018, the agency completed more than 1 million telemedicine appointments.

The free data is available to Sprint customers who are military veterans, caregivers and family members of veterans, as well as clinicians and technicians who support veteran healthcare.
