VA awards Medtronic national contract for home telehealth technologies

Medtronic Care Management Services — which has supplied the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs with telehealth solutions since 2011 — has been awarded another national contract from the VA for its home telehealth technologies.

With this new contract, Medtronic Care Management Services can continue providing the VA with remote patient monitoring technology for the following year. This technology includes diagnostic devices and related telehealth solutions to help clinicians monitor patients with conditions such as heart failure, diabetes, depression, hypertension and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Medtronic Care Management Services is one of four vendors that were awarded this national contract for home telehealth technologies.
