Teladoc announced its initial decision to offer victims of Hurricane Harvey access to general medical care for nonemergency illnesses at no cost Aug. 29. Under the program’s expansion, BetterHelp — a division of Teladoc — will offer free short-term counseling and therapy services.
BetterHelp matches patients with psychologists, clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors and marriage and family therapists via chat, phone and video technology.
