Five notes on the telehealth vendor’s financial performance for the first quarter, which ended March 31:
1. Teladoc posted $128.5 million in revenue, up 43 percent from $89.64 million from the first quarter of 2018.
2. The company reported 1.06 million total telehealth visits, up 75 percent from 606,000 during the same period last year.
3. Subscription access fees attributed to most of Teladoc’s revenue at $106 million, up 48 percent from $72 million from the first quarter of 2018.
4. Teladoc posted a $30.2 million net loss for the first quarter, up 30 percent from the company’s $23.9 million net loss during the same period last year.
5. The company anticipates its second quarter of 2019 revenue to be between $128 million and $131 million, with its expected full-year 2019 revenue to rang from $535 million to $545 million.
