Teladoc’s board of directors has appointed Mala Murthy, the company’s chief financial officer, as Mr. Gorevic’s temporary replacement, according to an April 5 news release from Teladoc.
The company’s board has initiated an executive search to find a permanete CEO.
Mr. Gorevic has been CEO of the company since 2009, according to his LinkedIn page. Teladoc did not mention the reason for the sudden departure.
