Teladoc Health’s full-year revenue grew 32% in 2019: 5 notes

Teladoc Health reported $533.3 million in full year revenue for 2019, a 32 percent year-over-year increase, according to a Feb. 26 news release.

Here are five notes about the company’s financial performance for the fourth quarter of 2019 and the full fiscal year, which ended Dec. 31, 2019:

1. Teladoc posted a 27 percent increase in year-over-year fourth quarter revenue at $156.5 million.

2. The telehealth company’s total virtual visits increased 57 percent in 2019 to 4.1 million.

3. Subscription access fees contributed to most of Teladoc’s revenue at $356.7 million for the year, up 29 percent from $277.1 million in 2018.

4. Teladoc posted a $98.9 million net loss for the full year, compared to $97.1 million for the full year 2018.

5.  Teladoc anticipates its full-year 2020 revenue to be in the range of $695 million to $710 million and total visits to be between 5.5 million and 5.9 million.
