Three notes:
1. SOC Telemed launched the pilot in January at select partner hospitals around the U.S.
2. The RCM services transition the responsibility of billing for telemedicine services from the hospital directly to SOC Telemed.
3. By assuming responsibility for telemedicine services billing, SOC Telemed’s RCM offering aims to make billing, compliance and liability less complicated for physicians and patients who connect through telemedicine and live in different states.
