Seattle Children's offering virtual urgent care

Seattle Children's will now offer virtual urgent care.

The new service, dubbed Virtual Urgent Care, will allow patients to use technology to see, hear and talk with a provider through a computer, tablet or other digital device, according to a Jan. 18 release from Seattle Children's.

Any eligible patient in the state of Washington experiencing symptoms such as cough, cold, fever, eye infection and more can use the new expanded service.

The service will be offered Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Patients must be present in the state of Washington during the time of their visit and must be accompanied by a legal guardian in order to receive virtual care, according to the health system.
