Roper St. Francis Healthcare launches telemedicine ICU services: 3 notes 

Charleston, S.C.-based Roper St. Francis Healthcare deployed Advanced ICU Care’s telemedicine intensive care unit services at three of its hospitals, according to a Dec. 10 news release.

Three notes:

1. RSFH partnered with Advanced ICU Care in collaboration with the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston to provide the tele-ICU services.

2. The health system implemented the telemedicine services at Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant (S.C.) Hospital, Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Charleston and Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital in Summerville, S.C.

3. Advanced ICU Care’s team of intensivists, practice providers and ICU nurses provide 24/7 clinical support to RSFH’s three hospitals via telemedicine technology.
