The deal is worth more than $225 million, sources told The New York Times.
Founded in 2017, Modern Fertility began by offering a $159 finger prick test that estimates how many eggs might be left in a person’s ovaries. The company now offers fertility tests, ovulation trackers, pregnancy tests and prenatal vitamins.
Modern Ferititly’s services will be integrated into Ro’s primary care platform, and Modern Fertility co-founders Afton Vechery and Carly Leahy will lead Ro’s women’s health offering.
