pMD launches HIPAA-compliant video chat, messaging service

pMD, a mobile telehealth platform, released a new HIPAA-compliant feature that allows healthcare providers to securely communicate through video chat.

pMD users can access the healthcare technology company's video chat service to share patient information with authorized colleagues as well as providers from different organizations. pMD's text messaging service is also HIPAA compliant.

The mobile platform interfaces with various EHR and hospital systems.
