Einstein officials plan to use telehealth to streamline follow-up appointments, increase care volume and improve chronic disease management. Teladoc will help benchmark these goals with its readiness assessment tool, which outlines a three-year telehealth adoption roadmap. The tool focuses on reducing cost of care by decreasing unnecessary emergency room visits.
Einstein will initially deploy its Teladoc services to its own employees as a cost reduction measure.
