Under the partnership, MDLive users will have 24/7 access to teledermatology services. Remote dermatologists can provide patients with treatment plans and e-prescriptions, if needed, in fewer than 24 hours.

This agreement adds dermatology to MDLive’s service portfolio, which includes treatment for low-acuity health conditions — like allergies and the flu — and behavioral healthcare.

“We are continuing to build a comprehensive, quality consumer experience where an MDLive patient can obtain medical, behavioral health and dermatology care from one trusted brand,” said Randy Parker, founder and chief business development officer of MDLive.
