Kansas hospital offers YMCA-based telehealth visits for $49: 3 things to know

El Dorado, Kan.-based Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital is utilizing a telehealth kiosk at its local YMCA to more easily connect with patients, according to KWCH.

Here are three things to know about the program.

1. The kiosk in the El Dorado YMCA connects Kansas providers with residents who might not want to visit their primary care physician or an urgent care clinic.

2. The visits cost a flat rate of $49.

3. Receipts are sent to the patient’s personal email, and they can forward it directly to their insurer.
