Guthrie created a virtual command center, dubbed the Pulse Center, which it integrated with Epic.

The command center allows remote nurses to monitor patients visually using cameras and two-audio way communication.

The program was able to extend the reach of bedside nursing and lower the amount of travel nurses working at Guthrie, which went from 172 full-time employees to 98 between April 2022 and April 2023.
