Three notes:
1. After launching in 2012, DHMC’s telehealth center completed less than 100 video appointments with patients.
2. The virtual care center has departments for various medical specialties, including emergency care, psychiatry and pharmacy.
3. The center aims to increase access to care for rural patients in areas of New Hampshire and Vermont, said Kevin Curtis, MD, medical director of telehealth and connected care at DHMC, according to the report.
