CVS' MinuteClinic expands telehealth offering to 3 more states

CVS Health's MinuteClinic announced Nov. 19 that patients in Colorado, Illinois and New Jersey will now have access to the retail medical clinic's telehealth program.

The MinuteClinic video visits treat patients ages 2 and older for minor illnesses, minor injuries or skin conditions. Prior the visit, patients complete a questionnaire. After the virtual visit with a board-certified healthcare provider, patients can pick up any necessary prescriptions at their preferred pharmacy.

The virtual visits cost $59. The service is now available in 40 states.
