The companies will combine Avizia’s interoperable systemwide telehealth platform with Aligned Telehealth’s behavioral health solutions. Thus, Aligned Telehealth and its clients will gain access to the technology tools, resources and support necessary to provide virtual consultations.
Aligned Telehealth recently completed 325,000 virtual consultations. Additionally, it launched a dedicated correctional health division that focuses on increasing access telepsychiatry and specialized on-site services for incarcerated patents.
“As healthcare costs continue to rise, alongside the number of patients who need access to high-quality care, telehealth is a potential game changer,” says Nitin Nanda, MD, founder, CEO and chairman of Aligned Telehealth. “In partnering with Avizia, we’re able to deliver the best-possible telehealth experience to our clients and patients without worrying about security, interoperability or technology performance.”
