Hudson, Wis.-based Valley Surgery Center has implemented a prime vendor agreement with Medline.
Under the agreement, the surgery center will gain access to Medline’s portfolio of medical-surgical products, including surgical packs and gloves, along with distribution services designed to streamline ordering and supply delivery, according to an April 29 Medline news release. Valley Surgery Center treats about 700 patients a month.
The agreement expands Medline’s ambulatory surgery center business as providers continue evaluating supply chain partnerships and purchasing strategies tied to operational costs and product access. Leaders said the partnership will support the surgery center’s clinical and operational goals.
