Vizient names Medline supplier of the year

Northfield, Ill.-based Medline received Vizient’s Mark McKenna Overall Supplier of the Year Award during the 2017 Vizient Supplier Summit held April 3-5 in Las Vegas.

The award recognizes a supplier who consistently demonstrates a commitment to excellence when serving Vizient member hospitals and their patients, according to a news release.

Mark McKenna, the award’s namesake, served as president and CEO of Novation — a Vizient legacy company — from 1999 to 2006.

Medline also received Vizient’s Medical/Surgical Supplier of the Year award during the summit.
