Hospitals that use the SxanPro app to monitor their medical device inventories will now receive a personalized report each month for recalled products sitting on their shelves.
The new offering is thanks to SxanPro's partnership with NotiSphere, a medical recall software company that communicates between medical device suppliers and healthcare organizations, according to a Nov. 13 news release.
Healthcare employees can scan Unique Device Identifiers with SxanPro's app, which collects the information and uses NotiSphere's recall data to help hospitals quickly identify recalled devices.
