He shared the following tip with Becker’s Hospital Review.
“I’ve seen a hospital lose thousands of dollars to a ‘one-size-fits-all’ operation that deals with a wide variety of items and only offers hospitals a small portion of the items’ value. These folks act more like a trash removal company than a true partner helping you move assets while maximizing the value.
“Do a little bit of research when it comes to disposing of specific items. It can be as easy as a Google search, and the extra time could be worth significant income to your hospital.”
