He shared the following tip with Becker’s Hospital Review:
“Health system pharmacies should promote and support the development of the pharmacy technician staff,” Mr. Wolf said. “Doing so will help create opportunities for pharmacists to participate in patient care teams, enabling them to showcase their value and, ultimately, underscoring the importance of pharmacy to the health system.”
When hospital executives prioritize the professional development of technician staff, it better aligns and positions pharmacy leaders at the C-suite to drive patient care outcomes.
