While NorthPoint Development declined to comment on “Project Toto” news, other sources said CVS plans to either develop the 850,000-square-foot distribution center on its own or hire an outside developer, according to the report.
As of June 30, CVS Health’s retail and long-term care segment included 9,652 stores and pharmacies, according to the company’s most recent annual report. CVS Health’s website says the company runs 17 distribution centers across 15 states, none of which are near the Kansas City area.
