As the healthcare industry continues to evolve, logistics companies such as UPS Healthcare are becoming more integral to the supply chain. 

Baxter International has increased  allocations for two U.S. IV solutions to 100% following the disruption caused by Hurricane Helene at its North Cove, N.C., facility, according to a letter to customers available on the website of the American Hospital Association. 

DHL Supply Chain, based in Westerville, Ohio, has acquired Inmar Supply Chain Solutions, a division of Inmar Intelligence, making DHL the largest provider of reverse logistics solutions in North America. 

Sentara Norfolk (Va.) General Hospital is piloting the use of blood vending machines to give clinical teams quicker access to blood products, NBC affiliate WAVY reported Jan. 20.
