Reva Medical, a San Diego-based devicemaker that specializes in vascular devices, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Mass Device reported. 

Spartan Medical, a medical device supplier, filed a lawsuit accusing Globus Medical, a devicemaker, of breaking its $2.1 billion contract to supply Veterans Affairs hospitals with medical supplies.

Medline hasn't been sterilizing medical equipment at its Waukegan, Ill., facility since mid-December because it didn't finish construction needed to meet new state standards for ethylene oxide emission in time, according to the Lake County Health Department.
