New York City-based NYU Langone Health has expanded its prime vendor agreement with Medline to include laboratory products and supply chain services.

Under the agreement, NYU Langone will have expanded access to Medline’s laboratory products and distribution capabilities to streamline the ordering and delivery of medical supplies, according to an Aug. 3 news release. The agreement expands the organizations’ partnership beyond medical-surgical and Faculty Group Practice settings to the health system’s laboratory.

The expanded deal will support NYU Langone’s operations across the New York metro area and Florida, where the health system operates seven inpatient locations along with an extensive network of outpatient and specialty care sites.
