Here are four things to know:
1. The 1.2 million-square-foot sorting hub will represent the company’s third largest facility in the U.S., according to the report.
2. The sorting facility will contain a deliver vehicle center capable of dispatching more than 280 trucks for local deliveries and pickups.
3. UPS expects to process more than 100,000 packages per hour at the hub.
4. The company said the new facility, slated for completion in late 2018, will bring 1,250 jobs to the area, according to the report.
